Teresa loves feathers, in a romantic, vintage kind of way. Knowing of our reputation of being able to create 'anything' and our love for creativity, she asked us to design a feather boa instead of a bouquet.
Up to the challenge, we wired dozens of peonies, gardenias, orchids and astilbe into a custom Luly Yang boa the morning of the wedding. That was definitely the most time intensive 'bouquet' we have ever done! The effort was worth it. Teresa also wanted a 'bust' made out of flowers as an conversation piece at the entrance, so we re-created the female form in peonies, roses and orchids.
Those were so fun to create!
Teresa's centerpieces featured feather-like grasses, and her cake, of course, was topped with feathers and garden roses. Romantic and definitely couture.
