Rachel and Brett

Rachel was very hands-on during the design process, which is always fun for me - I love creating a couple's vision of their day! Rachel wanted romance, but wanted everything to feel somewhat natural, with branches and earthy colors, with a hint of glamour. The ceremony was held at the Golf Club at Newcastle Terrace, despite it being quite windy. Her altar pieces were constructed out of eight foot sandblasted branches, which held cascading swarovski crystals to catchthe sunlight, and orbs of roses and orchids. I love how the carmel roses reflected the color of her hair! The reception was held in the St. Andrews Ballroom, whcih we lit up with amber lighting on the sides, and a blue starlit sky in the middle. Tall branches reached toward the ceiling out of bloom filled vases, while lush squat urn held arrangements of roses, orchids and artichokes.
